Become a Live In Carer

The selection process for Wisdom in Carers consists of four steps:

Online Application

Once you have decided that a Care is a job you would like to do the next step is to download and fill in our application form. You will find this located on the sidebar of moast pages on the website. Its imperative that you complete the application form in its entirety to avoid us having to send it back to you. This application form gives us all of the information we need to be able to give you a call to chat about the role in more detail. If once you have chatted with us. you would like to pursue a live in care position, we arrange a formal interview.

Face to Face or Skype Interview

We will agree a time with you to have either a face to face interview, where you will be invited to our Wolverhampton Office or if distance is an issue, we can perform an inteview using webcam facilties, otherwise known as Skype.  During this interview we will ask you lots of questions about your skills, knowledge and experience and to match them to the criteria outlined in the job description. Interviews will generally last 30 – 45 minutes.

Disclosure and Barring Service Check (formerly known as Criminal Records Bureau Check / CRB)

You will be required to have a full advanced criminal records check search prior to any official job offer. It may therefore be useful to start collecting the information we require to perform this check.
